Description: The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones out of water. Like the other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to preform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.

Description: Kisame shoots an entire lake's worth of water out of his mouth which he then uses for his water jutsu.


Name: Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique (水遁・大瀑布の術, Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu)

Description: Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique is a technique that forms a strong column of water to attack the oppoenent. Due to the force of the water the target will be fully enveloped by the water and at its mercy as it pulls them away.

Description: Water Release: Water Shark Missile Technique is a technique that forces water to attack the opponent in the form of a shark.


Name: Suirō no Jutsu, 水牢の術, literally "Water Prison Technique"

Description: This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. Clones can be used in place of the actual person, provided that the clone is the one that performed the technique. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, and the target is unable to move while within it, the target is still able to speak. However, the one imprisoned still has to maintain the ability to breathe.

Description: Water Release: Water Dragon Blast Technique is a technique that creates a serpentine dragon to attack the opponent. While a very powerful technique, it requires the most handsigns seen in the series, 44 different handsigns. Another drawback to the technique is it requires the user to be near a large body of water to complete the technique. However, the Second Hokage was able to produce one far from water, which was a testament to his skill and part of the reason why he was selected as hokage.
